- Bowen is safe for everyone from babies on up.
- Studies have shown that the average number of Bowen sessions to resolve a condition is six; though sometimes it is far less, it all depends on an individuals healing capabilties, the condition and how long it has existed. We recommend an initial four Bowen treatments then we evaluate further need if necessary.
- A Bowen treatment is approximately 35 - 45 minutes long, sometimes shorter, with the initial consultation being 45+ minutes due to the need to discuss, in detail, your condition and medical history.
- Bowen is a gentle therapy: there is NO vigorous manipulation.
- It improves mobility, balances the body and de-toxify.
- It improves circulation and activates lymphatic system drainage and function.
- Other therapies are not recommended while receiving Bowenwork as they tend to negate the efficacy of Bowenwork.
